#16 - LIST FRIDAY, First Edition

So, I love Fridays. And I love lists. So it only makes sense that I would post a new list every Friday right? Right!

Today's list:

Words I Like (alphabetically).
  • ampersand
  • bounce
  • cameo
  • diagram
  • Edwardian
  • fathom
  • garnish ("That caviar is a garnish!")
  • haberdashery
  • indubitably
  • jealousy
  • kismet
  • mouth
  • nefarious
  • opaque (not to be confused with 'oblique', they are not the same thing at all)
  • petulant
  • quagmire
  • resin
  • situate
  • traipse
  • utterly
  • vanish
  • white
  • xenphobia (mainly because of it's defition: a fear of strangers or foreigners, or anything that is strange... or foreign)
  • young
  • zig (but not zag)

I am currently taking requests for next Friday's list!

I like your words. I would add juxtapostion (Chirs and I had a conversation about that word yesterday), loquacious, vapid, myriad (I don't know if you had that one, but I'm not checking now!) and ointment (that one feels good in my mouth). For this Friday's list I suggest...list of favourite sauces, the states you can name of the top of your head, the things on your desk, or your favourite last words.

Ooh, "resin". You crafty beast you, that's excellent. I'm excited for next Friday, and I like the prospective sauces list. (Some of my favourites are alfredo and chocolate. Is pesto considered a sauce? Definitely pesto.)
